This website is operated by Art Violins — NOSE Kosei. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Art Violins — NOSE Kosei is the data controller.
For any privacy matter, please use the contact form.
Information you give directly, when you use the contact form or write by email: your name, your email address, and the content of your message.
Information collected automatically, when the site is served: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time. This is standard server and security logging carried out by the hosting provider.
Aggregate usage statistics collected through Cloudflare Web Analytics, as described below. No advertising or profiling services are used on this site.
Your information is never sold, and is never used to send marketing you have not asked for.
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how it is used — how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where they come from. It also reports how quickly pages load.
No cookies are set for this purpose, and nothing is stored on your device. Visitors are not identified, are not followed from one day to the next, and are not tracked across other websites. No profile of you is built, and the statistics are never combined with the messages you send through the contact form.
Legal basis: my legitimate interest in understanding whether the site is working and being read. Because no cookies or similar identifiers are used, no consent banner is required.
A small number of service providers process data on my behalf:
Each acts under contract and may only use the data to provide its service. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it.
Some of the providers above are based in, or transfer data to, countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States and Japan. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers put in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.
Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and afterwards for up to one year in case you get back in touch about the same instrument. Server logs are kept for a short period by the hosting provider, typically no more than a few weeks.
Under the GDPR you may ask to access the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive it in a portable form. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
To exercise any of these rights, please use the contact form.
This site sets no cookies for analytics, advertising or profiling. The hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies for security and performance; these are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off.
Because no tracking cookies are used, there is no cookie consent banner to accept or refuse.
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated submissions. When you send a message, information about your browser and how you interacted with the page is sent to Cloudflare so it can tell whether the request came from a person. This runs in the background with nothing shown on screen, and is used only for that check — never for advertising or to identify you. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum for details.
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
